Hi Mom/Family!

It was awesome to skype you too! I was so happy afterwords. I already talk about you all so much but that night i just wouldn´t shut up about all of you! Thanks for the pictures of baby Sarah! They´ll be great with my collection! Maybe a few more choice photos of the fam too? That would be sweet. I´m going to try to attach photos of my mission in another email to you, just a couple good ones. She is definitely so cute though! Shoot!
Our upcoming baptisms are Celma a woman probably in her 40´s who is amazing and takes care of a lot of children who don´t have homes despite her own poverty. Her only trouble is that she´s having a tough time quitting smoking. There´s Jair who is in his 50´s who was a drinker but is quitting. He came to church on Sunday, so we´re hoping he keeps praying for an answer. And of course Samanta who´s 9 years old and very smart. She is very decisive and we hope she can understand and develop a personal testimony. Those are the upcoming ones!
As for the pictures, there are a few of my time at the MTC in Provo, UT and Sao Paulo, Brazil here, Elder Leite my Brazillian roommate, Elder Hodgman my second companion, Elder Morgan the tall companion haha, Adams Kramer and I (we saw each other at the Provo MTC), and a few of the worst streets we walk, haha! Please share em!         Thanks for your words of encouragement... have i ever told you that i love you?! You and the family are the greatest. Im convinced i have the best family in the world. These times are hard, but i feel rejuvinated after talking to you all. I love you all so much and it will be the blink of an eye before im home again!

Love,
Elder LeFoll

Week 6

Mom/family,
Again, no big email this week. but i will have exponentially more time when im in the field, which is not this pday but the next. So i´ll be writing them then again. I guess my mission scripture is Ezekial 34:12... i ran across it this week in my studies and wrote a whole half page about it in my notebook expounding on it with the footnotes and other resources. Its amazing to me how personally involved the Savior is in His work. I wrote this in my letter to you, but i´ll say it here too, it was my goal to memorize 50 words this week. I looked back at how many i actually memorized on sunday and it was about 500. I was pretty shocked, i know the Lord is involved. It makes me think of how important it is then to teach by the spirit, as the scripture says, I, even I, will search out my lost sheep; then in the next verse it says that He will deliver them. I love that wording. Anyways, there it is!
We talk to people all the time on P-day, or at least i do haha. I just start up conversations with strangers and try to really listen for their accents and things like that. Sometimes it´s difficult with all the colloquialisms and little phrases, but i love speaking with them. They are really a very open and friendly people.
We had a little thanksgiving meal... not much and certainly nothing compared to the fabulous cooking of mom and randy. I certainly do miss those sweet potatoes with marshmellows right about now. That´s good to hear about Nate, i´m happy to hear it. I usually pray for each one of you individually every night... it just makes me feel a little closer to you i suppose.
As for rach and john, i´ll pray for them and the Lord will provide a way! I love you though and appreciate you sending me emails and such, keeping me up to date. Please, share this email with nana and zack if you would! You´re the greatest!

Love,
Elder LeFoll
